Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 10 September 2026
AstroBond is an 18+ astrology and social discovery app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the published standards we maintain to keep such content and conduct off our platform, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy.
1. Adults only
AstroBond is intended solely for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly permit accounts for anyone under 18. The service rejects birth dates that would make a user younger than 18, our Google Play listing targets the 18-and-over age group only, and minor access is restricted at the store level. If we learn that a user is a minor, we terminate the account.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We strictly prohibit, and act against, any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms children, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, text, or links.
- Sexualization of minors, including AI-generated or drawn depictions.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to make contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Trafficking, or the facilitation of any sexual exploitation of a child.
This conduct is banned by our Terms of Service and results in immediate, permanent removal from AstroBond.
3. How to report
Anyone can report suspected CSAE, unsafe behavior, or a user who may be a minor:
- In the app: every profile and chat has a Block and Report control. Reports reach our moderation team directly.
- By email: write to hello@astrobond.app with any details. This mailbox is monitored for child-safety reports.
You do not need an account to email us a report.
4. How we respond
- We review CSAE reports as a priority.
- We remove offending content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- Where required by law, we preserve relevant evidence and report to the appropriate authorities, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline and, where applicable, local law enforcement.
5. Compliance contact
Our designated child-safety point of contact is reachable at hello@astrobond.app. We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports within 24 hours.
6. Legal alignment
These standards are maintained in compliance with applicable child-safety laws in the regions where AstroBond is available, and with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy. We review and update them as our service and the applicable requirements evolve.
7. Reporting to organizations that combat CSAE
Reports of child sexual abuse material can also be made directly to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline (United States): report.cybertip.org
- INHOPE (international network of hotlines): inhope.org
